Did you know that your brain uses more oxygen than any other organ in your body! And did you know that breathing poorly inhibits oxygen from getting to the brain. Thats a pretty dramatic reason to correct your breathing. Its one thing to have an asthma attack as awful as they are, but without sufficient oxygen, you can 't think straight, your memory will be poor and foggy thinking is ever present.
So how do you fix, or prevent this from happening to you?
First be aware of your breathing at all times and make sure you are not over-breathing. Over-breathing lowers carbon dioxide levels which inhibits oxygen absorption.
The very best way to do that is to switch from mouth to nasal breathing....ALL THE TIME! I mean, even during exercise. Only with correct breathing can you keep your brain healthy and sharp.
